Our Amazing Tale

The company was established in March of 2014. It is headquartered in Colombo. To introduce you to Jagathsingh Jayasingh, or “Jagath” for short, who has been working in the travel sector for the past 19 years. In 1997, Rev. Richard Woodham of the Christ Church in Dickoya in Hatton asked Jagath to accompany him to Adam’s Speak.

We had a great 2 week holiday with Luxurious Lanka. Jagath did an amazing job putting together a personalized itinerary for us which included all the things we wanted to see plus a few extras. Our accommodations were fabulous and the food was delicious. We were so lucky to have Basil driving us around and showing us all the hidden charms of SL as well. We had an awesome time and are already discussing coming back and seeing more of the north and east of SL with Luxurious Lanka.

Our group of Four had the privilege of planning our dream vacation through Luxurious Lanka, and it was an experience beyond our expectations! From the very beginning, dealing personally with the founder, Mr. Jagath, instilled confidence in the planning process. It was an iterative planning process and Jagath heeded our suggestions and planned according to our requirements. Our journey took place from 4th to 16th August 2023, and every moment was arranged to suit our preferences.The diversity of experiences each day was truly remarkable. We embarked on thrilling Safari Game drives in both Wilpattu and Yala National Parks, witnessing the astonishing wildlife of Sri Lanka up close. Our hearts were captivated by the charm of historical towns like Kandy and Galle, each offering a unique glimpse into the country's rich past. The train rides from Kandy to Ella were an adventure in themselves, with breathtaking views that will be etched in our memories. And who could forget the enchanting tea highlands? Experiencing the picturesque landscapes and the process of tea-making was an absolute delight.One of the standout aspects of our journey was the impeccable selection of accommodations. We asked for good high-end accommodation and it was evident that each lodging was carefully curated to cater to our requests. The comfort and luxury provided made each day's end even more special.Our driver, Mike, deserves a special mention. His seasoned driving skills were evident as he navigated through both the bustling city roads and the winding mountain paths with ease. Mike's knowledge of the history behind each destination added depth to our exploration. His familiarity with the places we wished to visit was impressive, enhancing our overall experience. He was also always punctual and kept to the itinerary beautifully amidst the unpredictable traffic conditions.Sri Lanka itself is a gem of a country, boasting unparalleled beauty and a plethora of diverse experiences. We had a 5 day tour with this company to the cultural centre of Sri Lanka. The first class attention we received from Luxurious Sri Lanka started before we even left Australia as we planned our tour with Jagath, the MD of the company, and continued till the time we were escorted to the airport. Our journey was amazing, not just because Sri Lanka is amazing, but also because we had a fabulous welcome at the airport, and felt supported throughout the journey by the staff of Luxurious Sri Lanka. We had a fantastic driver/guide who had so much knowledge about the history of Sri Lanka, with whom we felt completely safe, and who ended up being our friend. The hotels we stayed in were absolutely perfect, great rooms, pool and food. As a couple we felt we had the best tour imaginable. I highly recommend Luxurious Sri Lanka and we will certainly be traveling with them again
