Hambantota

Hambantota is a coastal city in Sri Lanka’s Southern Province, located along the island’s dry south-eastern coastline. Once a quiet fishing and salt-producing area, it has developed into an important administrative and infrastructure hub in recent years. The city is known for its wide, open landscapes, hot and dry climate, and proximity to significant wildlife and natural attractions.
